Developer Beacon Properties Group has begun work on a 28,231-square-foot mixed-use building in the Triangle. Pickett Sprouse Commercial Real Estate is already handling pre-selling and leasing at 150 Wellesley Trade Lane in western Cary, N.C.

The upcoming building is set to feature up to 16,000 square feet of Class A medical office and office space. The roughly 10,000-square-foot service/retail component will include 3,400 square feet for a restaurant.

Located at the corner of High House and Green Level roads and Highway 55, which is 1 mile from Interstate 540 and minutes away from Research Triangle Park, the upcoming two-story development is expected to be completed by summer. Tim Barber of Barber Architects and EarthCentric Engineering were in charge of the building’s design.

“This area of Cary is quickly changing, with 19,000 vehicles per day traveling along High House and Green Level Roads and at least 26,000 vehicles per day traveling along Highway 55. That type of growth requires a mix of services in a convenient location that will meet the needs of customers and business owners alike,” said Jerry Gambill, commercial broker for Pickett Sprouse, in prepared remarks.
