Greysteel’s John Mullen Climbs the Corporate Ladder

In his current position at Greysteel, Mullen will oversee large private capital and institutional transactions, while also focusing on new responsibilities concerning the Los Angeles scene.

Washington—Real estate powerhouse Greysteel recently promoted John Mullen as managing director. Also a member of Greysteel’s executive and technology committees, he previously served the company as senior director.

In his new role, Mullen will oversee large private capital and institutional transactions, while also focusing on new responsibilities concerning the Los Angeles scene.

In a prepared statement, Greysteel co-founder & president Ari Firoozabadi marked the new promotion with a sense of enthusiasm: “He has been with us since the beginning and has consistently delivered high levels of service and value to clients year after year. His elevation to managing director coincides with his new responsibility–leading and growing our presence in the Los Angeles market.

“John brings exceptional brokerage expertise, management skills and extensive knowledge of the investment sales market to his new position,” Firoozabadi concluded.

Mullen is a Summa Cum Laude MBA graduate of Howard University and has previously worked as Director of Transactions and Financial Analysis for the California-headquartered offices of Marcus & Millichap.

Greysteel is a commercial real estate investment firm and serves institutional and private clients through its D.C. main office and other six U.S. locations, including Philadelphia, Dallas, Los Angeles, and Baltimore.
