Greg Matus Moves Up the Ladder at Franklin Street

Miami—Franklin Street recently announced the promotion of Greg Matus to senior vice president of investment sales. His new attributions consist in growing the division on a national level, adding and training new associates and increasing productivity for the firm’s services. Matus will also continue as regional managing partner of the company’s South Florida office until a replacement is found.

Since joining Franklin Street two and a half years ago, the top industry professional tripled the number of employees in the company’s Miami and Broward offices. Prior to joining Franklin Street, Matus served as vice president & regional manager of Marcus & Millichap’s Fort Lauderdale real estate investment services department.

“Throughout most of his commercial real estate career, he has been involved in the investment sales and new business development side of the business. Now he gets a chance to take that skill set to a larger stage,” said Kurt Keaton, president of management and real estate services, in a prepared statement.

Matus was featured on Real Estate Forum’s 50 Under 40 list in 2014 and named among the 40 Under 40 professionals in 2010 by the South Florida Business Journal. He is also a member of the National Association of Office and Industrial Properties, Urban Land Institute and the International Council of Shopping Centers.
