Grand Coast Capital Appoints New Managing Director

Former Fullerton Investors LLC Chief Operating Officer David Adams brings 14 years of expertise in asset management and investor relations to Grand Coast Capital Group.

Private lending and investment company Grand Coast Capital Group recently hired David Adams as its new managing director of fundraising and investor relations. He will oversee the firm’s business development, investor relations, sourcing of co-investment opportunities and new capital partners.

Prior to joining the company, Adams served as chief operating officer at Fullerton Investors LLC for more than five years, where he was responsible for the allocation of third-party managers and direct investing in public markets, private investments and real estate. He was also co-founder and partner of software company Recurve Partners, where he dealt with portfolio management and investment due diligence for traditional and alternative asset managers. Between 2004 and 2011, he was director of hedge funds with HFR Asset Management where the built and managed a $3 billion hedge fund platform. He also served as assistant research analyst at Petros Capital Management in 2003.

Adams is a Vanderbilt University graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. He also graduated from London School of Economics and Political Science. Currently, he maintains the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst and is a member of the CFA Society of Chicago.
