Donald Trump is marking headlines for such a wide range of subjects that people might have forgotten he has a real estate business to handle. The controversial candidate for the Republican presidential nomination recently inked an expansion agreement for the Trump Hotel Collection into Asia. The hospitality brand is partnering with Indonesian investment group MNC Group, and will take over the management of a six-star luxury resort and residential development near the Tanah Lot temple in Bali.

Located in the vicinity of the Indian Ocean, the development is being built near the coastline, near one of the most frequented tourist attractions in Bali. The two parties involved in the project have stated that their emphasis will be on upscale features, providing large suites and villas with six-star level services.

An MNC Group delegation recently visited New York City where an official signing was held. Donald Trump and Hary Tanoesoedibjo, the founder & CEO of MNC Group attended the ceremony.

According to the Executive Vice President of Development and Acquisitions of The Trump Organization, Donald Trump Jr., the company is “honored to announce our expansion into Asia and bring to market an extraordinary luxury property.”

MNC Group President, Tanoesoedibjo, added that the development will be “the largest and most integrated lifestyle resort destination in Bali.”
