Forever 21 Anchors KTGY-Designed SouthBay Pavilion Expansion
The retailer will join a number of food concepts at the new section of the mall.

Carson, Calif.–KTGY Architecture + Planning recently debuted its design for the expansion of the SouthBay Pavilion shopping center in Carson. Vintage Real Estate is expanding its facility to accommodate the opening of a brand new Forever 21 store.
SouthBay Pavilion
Located at 20700 S. Avalon Blvd. in Carson, SouthBay Pavilion is a partially enclosed mall that offers 1.2 million square feet of retail space. The expansion will add a new section to the mall that will feature floor-to-ceiling display window boxes, textured wall treatments and metal panels. F21 RED is a concept launched by the retailer back in 2014 that offers an assortment of products from its various lines including Forever 21 Men, Forever 21 Plus and Forever 21 Kids.
The F21 RED will total 17,000 square feet of space and will be joined by a few new food locations including Vitamin World, Chile Verde Mexican Food, Jamba Juice and Wing Stop. Vintage also worked with KTGY on the leasing plan, in order to better accommodate the integration of the new F21 RED concept store. Vintage Real Estate is aiming to complete the expansion in early 2017.
