New York—Specialty athletic retailer Foot Locker Inc. recently celebrated the opening of its flagship New York City location in Herald Square. The company held an official ribbon-cutting ceremony Aug. 30 at its new 34th Street store. The new location will house multiple brands under the Foot Locker brand umbrella, including Foot Locker and SIX:02.

“At Foot Locker, we are always looking for creative ways to bring the best retail experience to our customers and to establish ourselves as the go-to destination for the world’s leading athletic brands,” Andy Gray, vice president & general manager of Foot Locker, said in a statement. “The 34th Street store is the first location to feature our new layout, highlighting the top brands that shoppers know and love.”

The roughly 10,000-square-foot store is organized by brand, rather than by product category, and features the likes of House of Hoops by Foot Locker, PUMA Lab Powered by Foot Locker, and The Foundation only at Foot Locker – an Adidas concept.

The 34th Street store is also SIX:02’s first New York City location. The retailer offers a curated selection of products from brands such as Nike, Adidas, Puma, Koral, Terez, Spiritual Gangster Ivy Park and FENTY PUMA by Rihanna.
