Fairmont Hotels & Resorts Opens First Residences in China
Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has opened its first residential project in China. Fairmont Chengdu Residences are part of a mixed-use development scheduled to open in 2015.

Fairmont Hotels & Resorts has opened the luxury hotel brand’s first residential project in China. Fairmont Chengdu Residences are part of a mixed-use development which will also include Fairmont Chengdu, a new luxury hotel scheduled to open in 2015.
Located in the capital of the Sichuan Province, Fairmont Chengdu Residences features 382 luxury residences in two 36-story towers adjacent to the future 347-room Fairmont hotel, the latter will also include 52 serviced apartments. The Fairmont Chengdu Residences project was developed by Chengdu Palm Springs Unielite Real Estate Development Co. Ltd. Residents will be able to choose from various floor plans including two-bedroom suites featuring more than 950 square feet of living space and three-bedroom suites with more than 1,390 square feet. Amenities include an exclusive Resident’s Lounge, private gym, children’s club, 24-hour concierge and a dedicated owner services team.
Residents at the Fairmont Chengdu Residences will also have access to the services and amenities of the soon-to-open Fairmont hotel. This hotel includes access to the business center, fitness facilities, Willow Stream Spa and dining outlets such as Fairmont Chengdu’s 42nd floor restaurant.
Chengdu is an important business hub and leisure destination in Southwest China. Fairmont Chengdu Residences is situated in the city’s Tianfu New Town, within the Palm Springs International Center, a master-planned city center that is home to a financial services district. Fairmont Chengdu Residences and Fairmont Chengdu are connected to the Palm Springs International Centre’s office tower and retail mall. The International Convention and Exhibition Centre, as well as the Art Exhibition Center, are easily accessible via underground subway.
With the new addition, Fairmont Chengdu Residences adds to the brand’s growing collection of private residences that are currently operating or in development around the world in locations such as Vancouver, Istanbul, Makkah and Fujairah.
