Fairfield by Marriott has opened the 84-key Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Denver Tech Center North, its 1,000th hotel, in Denver, Colo.

The new opening marks the second brand in the Marriott International portfolio to reach the 1,000 milestone, after Courtyard by Marriott.

Located at 5071 S. Syracuse St., the hotel offers convenient access to Centennial Airport, Denver Tech District, Park Meadows Mall, Inverness Business Park and TopGolf. Additionally, various entertainment and shopping venues such as Fiddler’s Green Amphitheater, iFLY Indoor Skydiving, Comedy Works Landmark District and Ikea are nearby. Denver International Airport is approximately 27 miles away.

The four-story property features common-area amenities including Wi-Fi, a 24-hour on-site fitness center, 24-hour business center and indoor swimming pool.

“We opened our first Fairfield in suburban Maryland in 2004, and watched it become a tremendous success. We have developed several additional Fairfield hotels over the past 10 years and realized that we could build a very successful hotel company by leveraging the brand and our great partnership with Marriott,” Al Patel, CEO of Baywood Hotels, said in a prepared statement. “Fifteen years later, we remain big believers in Fairfield—we have two more in the pipeline—and we’re growing with additional Marriott brands as well.”

The company plans to expand its portfolio by adding 300 hotels in both large and small cities, a 36 percent increase in the next three years.
