EquiCap Commercial Sells WI Facility

The firm’s Self Storage Advisory Group arranged the sale of the self storage property located in West Allis, approximately 6 miles from downtown Milwaukee.

Burnham Street Self Storage Conversion

EquiCap Commercial has sold Burnham Street Self Storage Conversion, an 80,688-net-rentable-square-foot facility in West Allis, Wis. The firm’s Self Storage Advisory Group brokered the sale of the property, which traded to a private buyer. CubeSmart was appointed to manage the storage asset.

Situated at 5317 W. Burnham St., the facility is near Freeway 59, around 6 miles from downtown Milwaukee and 11 miles from General Mitchell International Airport and is exposed to more than 7000 cars per day. The storage asset is also close to residential clusters—there are more than 8,800 units completed or under construction within a 3-mile radius.

The drive-through self storage conversion project was completed in 2018 and comprises units ranging from 25 to 450 square feet. The facility is gated, climate-controlled and features drive-up access, security cameras, and parking spaces. Further services include on-site management.

EquiCap Commercial’s team included Managing Director Jesse Luke and Vice President Scott Rihm. Last year, in October, the firm also brokered the sale of Storage Works, a 42,450-net-rentable-square-foot facility in Soddy Daisy, Tenn.
