Economy Watch Weekly: Retail, Industrial Jobs Susceptible to Automation

As technology advances, with costs coming down and efficiency improving, more businesses will find ways to use it, impacting human jobs, according to a recent Citi Global Perspectives & Solutions report. About 80 percent of jobs in transportation, warehousing and logistics and 63 percent of jobs in sales are susceptible to automation, which impacts both the retail and industrial sectors of real estate.
