Washington—A new, dual-branded Hilton Worldwide hotel is coming to the U.S. capital. The 239-key Hampton Inn by Hilton Washington, D.C. NoMa Union Station and Homewood Suites by Hilton Washington, D.C. NoMa Union Station will be one of the newest hotels in the revitalized NoMa neighborhood.

Located at 501 New York Ave., NE., the hotel will be conveniently situated within walking distance of the Metro’s Red Line at NoMa-Gallaudet U Station, providing guests with easy access to attractions such as the U.S. Capitol Building and the Library of Congress. The property will be managed by Greenbelt, Md.-based Baywood Hotels.

“Washington, D.C. is one of the nation’s top leisure destinations and attracts business travelers including those in the government and corporate sector,” Phil Cordell, global head of Focused Service and Hampton Brand Management at Hilton Worldwide, said in a statement. “Having a dual Hampton by Hilton and Homewood Suites property in this market presents a prime opportunity to offer two diverse brands with comfortable amenities and value our travelers have come to expect.”

Amenities at the new hotel will include a fitness center, heated indoor swimming pool with whirlpool, rooftop observatory, and two distinct lobbies offering separate check-in desks and lodging/dining areas.
