Design District to See New Development? Aztec Just Dropped a Hint

The southeastern part of Buena Vista, better known as Miami’s Design District may soon be enriched by a new mixed-use development.

The southeastern part of Buena Vista, better known as Miami’s Design District, may soon be enriched by a new mixed-use development. No details have been pinned down yet, but it is certain that a 1.6-acre parcel with an existing 52,889-square-foot mixed-use building was sold to an LLC. The broker, Aztec Group, Inc. referred to the property as “a prime candidate for mixed-use development” in the press release in which the transaction was announced.

Located at 3900 Biscayne Boulevard, the site at the entrance to the Miami Design District is just a short distance from Interstates 195 and 95, and it was previously used by local television station WPLG-Channel 10. According to target=”_blank” rel=”nofollow”Property Shark, 3900 Biscayne LLC sold the asset to 3900 Bayviews LLC for for $18.36 million. Aztec Group’s team of Chairman Ezra Katz, Managing Director Jim Fried, and Vice President Jason Katz completed the sale, representing both parties in the off-market transaction.
