Courtyard Memphis Airport Completes Renovation; Manager Appointed to Wolfchase Galleria Holiday Inn

Courtyard Memphis Airport has announced the completion of guestroom renovations. The 145-key hotel upgraded its 131 rooms and 14 suites to a contemporary design that offers comfort, flexibility and a sleek style. The new room designs hybrid work, sleep and relax zones, indirect lighting and a neutral tone-on-tone color palette.

The three-story hotel also refurbished its lobby into an innovative space with media pods, Wi-Fi and seating areas suited for both meetings and social gatherings, especially with the inclusion of The Bistro – Eat. Drink. Connect hotel restaurant. Other new features include a business library equipped with computers and printer, a boarding pass area outfitted solely for checking flight statuses and printing airline tickets, and a guest recycling program.

Courtyard Memphis Airport features two meeting rooms with 1,248 square feet of flexible meeting space, a fitness center, outdoor pool and guest laundry area. Located at 1780 Nonconnah Blvd., the hotel offers easy access to Downtown Memphis, the Civil Rights Museum and Graceland. Rates now start at a nightly $144.

Samuel Ward

In other hospitality news, Wilson Hotel Management LLC announced appointing Samuel Ward as general manager of the 133-key Holiday Inn & Suites Memphis Wolfchase Galleria. The Cum Laude graduate of University of Memphis has served as general manager, assistant general manager and assistant manager at a score of established hospitality brands in the Mid-South. Hotels under his management have earned numerous industry awards.

Holiday Inn & Suites Memphis Wolfchase Galleria is part of the InterContinental Hotels group portfolio. Amenities include 1,764 square feet of meeting space, a business center, fitness center, indoor pool and a hotel bar and restaurant.
