Atlanta-based retail owner and operator Coro Realty Advisors has purchased The Shops at Spire in Midtown Atlanta. The purchase marks the final part of a Midtown retail and parking portfolio previously owned by The Loudermilk Cos. Skyline Seven Real Estate President & CEO Kenny Holzer and Vice President Elliot Kyle brokered the deal.

The portfolio features five residential condominium buildings, 87,905 square feet of ground-floor retail and more than 600 parking stalls. The asset offers retail space at 800 Peachtree, 805 Peachtree, Shops at Seventh, Shops at Spire and Shops at Viewpoint. The tenant roster of all properties includes national companies such as Starbucks, BB&T, Sprint and Atlanta’s first urban QuikTrip, among others.

The company intends to add the newly purchased assets to the already acquired Gordon Biersch at 848 Peachtree St., enabling Coro to control almost all public parking and retail on Peachtree Street between 5th and 7th Streets.

Coro Realty also purchased a 0.12-acre parcel on Juniper Street, allowing for high density development as part of a larger future land assemblage. The deal is in keeping with the company’s strategy to purchase and develop high street retail.
