Bank of the Ozarks has renewed its 28,709-square-foot office lease at Colony Capital’s 3333 Riverwood Parkway in Atlanta. The financial institution moved into the 106,863-square-foot Class A property in 2012 as Community & Southern Bank, which Bank of the Ozarks acquired in 2016.

In September 2017, Colony Capital began a multi-million dollar renovation project to upgrade the property’s common areas and amenities. The owner acquired the asset in 2010 for $15.3 million from Holder Properties, according to Yardi Matrix.

Located in Atlanta’s Cumberland/Galleria submarket, the building rises five stories south of the intersection of The Perimeter and Interstate 75. More than 7 million square feet of Class A office space is situated within a mile of the asset, per Yardi Matrix data. Brookfield Properties’ 1 million-square-foot Cumberland Mall is nearby, and the immediate area contains a wide variety of shopping and dining options.

Lincoln Property Co.’s Michael Howell and Matt Davis represented Colony Capital in the transaction, and JLL’s Paul Hanna acted on behalf of the tenant.
