Colliers International Group Inc. recently announced the opening of its third Garden State location. Situated at 10 Woodbridge Center Drive–with easy access to the Metro Park station, the Garden State Parkway and NJ Turnpike arteries–the site will accommodate 23 employees. It is also a key access point to five counties for which the company provides services, encapsulating 81.5 million square feet of office space, 326 million square feet of industrial space and 148 square feet of retail space in the New York, Philadelphia, Boston and Washington, D.C., areas.
“While technology enables brokers to do business anywhere, it is very important for our leasing professionals to be able to get to the properties they represent within a reasonable amount of time,” David Simon, Colliers International executive managing director, said in a prepared statement.
The firm’s New Jersey teams include more than 45 staff members, with an approximate 30 sales and leasing real estate professionals. Colliers plans to broaden its position in the area, having already started the hiring process. “This expansion demonstrates the commitment that Colliers has to build in the Tri-State region,” Kim Brennan, New York/Tri-State regional COO, said in prepared remarks.
