Duke Realty To Sell Huge Office Building In Greater Cincinnati

Duke Realty Corp. is moving forward with its plan to transform its portfolio into primarily industrial and medical office assets. The Indianapolis-based company has recently put one of its largest class A office buildings in the Greater Cincinnati area on the market.

Mason City Council to Consider $150M Project

A $150 million project will bring more than 200 new homes to the Greater Cincinnati area. Developer CT Devco Inc. plans to built the new upscale residential community on the site of a former golf course, in Mason.

Mazak Completes $30M Project in Florence

Last month, the Mazak Corporation, a machine tool manufacturer based in Japan, finished the renovation and expansion of its manufacturing facility in Northern Kentucky. The cost of the two-year project was $30 million.

Steadfast Apartment REIT Buys 192-Unit Asset

Steadfast Apartment REIT has made another multifamily acquisition in the Midwestern United States. At the end of February, the REIT announced it has purchased the Columns on Wetherington apartment community for $25 million. Steadfast has so far invested more than $290 million in eight apartment communities, in six Midwestern and Southern states.

Sanders Kicks Off Work on $17M Rehab Center

The Cincinnati area is about to get another hospital. On Monday, February 23, The Sanders Trust announced it has started work on the Reliant Norwood Rehabilitation Hospital. Construction is expected to take about 11 months, with the new facility scheduled to open in February 2016.

AK Steel Plans $36M R&D Facility in Middletown

AK Steel plans to build a new, world-class Research and Innovation Center in the city of Middletown. The West Chester-based steel company announced the project on Monday, February 23. It is expected to cost $36 million.

On February 24, the university’s Board of Trustees approved $16 million in funding to renovate the old facility at 2900 Reading Road. Downtown Dayton Duo Heads to Auction

Two office properties in Downtown Dayton will hit the auction block next month. CBRE Auction Services is selling the mid-rise class C office towers at 333 W. 1st St. and 349 W. 1st St., at an online auction, together with a 340-space attached parking garage. The minimum bid is $350,000.

Auto Supplier Opens $50M Plant in Monroe

Last year, UGN, an automotive industry supplier based in Tinley Park, Illinois, announced its plans to break ground on a new manufacturing plant in the city of Monroe, 30 miles north of Cincinnati. The $50 million project was finished this month.
