Norfolk, Va.CBRE|Hampton Roads has been selected as exclusive leasing agent for 6160 Commander Parkway in Norfolk. Donald Crigger, Gray Randolph and Chris Kieran of CBRE’s Hampton Roads office will spearhead the marketing and leasing efforts.

The 65,000-square-foot, Class A office building is owned by Townsend Capital LLC. Completed in 2006, the property was constructed for federal contractor Blackhawk Products Group. According to Property Shark, the asset last traded in May 2012 for approximately $10.7 million, when it was bought by the current owner from Blackhawk Real-Estate Holdings LLC.

The four-story 6160 Commander Parkway features a fitness facility, dining area and two conference spaces. With direct access to the Hampton Roads Beltway and situated right next to the Norfolk International Airport, the location offers great commuting connectivity.

“This is a signature building with interstate visibility. Its central location near the airport represents a unique opportunity for companies with larger office space requirements,” Donald Crigger, EVP at CBRE|Hampton Roads, said in a prepared statement.

6160 Commander Parkway also sits adjacent to the 332,000-square-foot Norfolk Premium Outlets, which is currently under construction and slated for completion by mid-2017. The retail center, which is 65 percent owned by the Simon Property Group, will feature 90 designer and name-brand stores.
