CBRE Taps C-Suite Tech Pro

After 17 years as a senior technology exec with Capital One Financial, Chandra Dhandapani joins the Los Angeles-based company as chief digital & technology officer.

Los AngelesCBRE announced the appointment of Chandra Dhandapani as the company’s chief digital & technology officer, effective mid-July. She will serve as CBRE’s most senior technology leader and will oversee all technology and digital enablement activities, including both those serving clients and CBRE professionals.

Dhandapani joins CBRE after 17 years as senior technology executive with Capital One Financial, her most recent position being that of chief information officer. Prior positions include managing vice president, divisional CIO, VP of customer & funding operations, and vice president of business analysis.

“We are excited to add an executive of Chandra’s experience and capability to our senior leadership team,” said Chris Kirk, CBRE’s chief administrative officer, in prepared remarks. “She has a proven record of developing and executing enterprise-level digital strategies that support business objectives, improve client outcomes and drive growth.”

Dhandapani holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and an MBA in marketing and finance from the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) in India in addition to an MBA in information system from the University of Texas, Arlington.
