CBRE Hires New Industrial Leader
John Morris was previously the head of industrial and logistics at rival Cushman & Wakefield. He will officially join the company in November 2019.

CBRE has hired veteran industrial real estate leader John Morris as Americas Industrial & Logistics leader. Morris will officially join the company in November 2019, after certain employment restrictions have expired.
Morris previously led the Americas Industrial & Logistics business at Cushman & Wakefield. He also helped lead strategy for Cushman & Wakefield’s retail business and worked to integrate logistics projects into the service of its retail clients. In addition, he oversaw the Incentives Practice, which negotiated and secured relocation and investment incentives for clients from state and local government agencies.
The real estate veteran has been a leader in network design and site selection for fulfillment, distribution and manufacturing operations. Morris has a background in leading complex supply chain strategy initiatives, integrating critical location analysis and helping companies transform their logistics network into a competitive advantage.
Morris is an active member of CSCMP, SIOR and NAIOP. He received an MBA from the University of California Los Angeles’s Anderson School of Management and a BA in Economics from Duke University.
