CBRE Announces Three Promotions

The firm promoted David Gavin as senior vice president, Michael McCall as first vice president and Jacqueline Novotny as vice president. They will be based in the Westchester/ Fairfield office.

Three CBRE professionals moved up the ladder in the firm’s Westchester/ Fairfield office. David Gavin was named senior vice president, Michael McCall was promoted to first vice president and Jacqueline Novotny now fulfills the role of vice president.

Gavin previously served as first vice president at CBRE, joining the team in 2006 as a member of the 15-person New York Institutional Properties Group. His responsibilities included underwriting and financial analysis, buyer and seller communications and marketing, due diligence coordination and marketing materials production for retail asset offerings. He also focused on generating investment sales business in the Metro New York area, managing to sell 13 single retail properties or portfolios last year alone. He has a bachelor of science in finance/marketing from Boston College.

McCall joined the CBRE team in 2012 as vice president, focusing on tenant and agency representation. He brings over 10 years of experience in corporate and institutional real estate, having closed 300 leasing deals for a total of 2 million square feet. McCall is also an exclusive landlord representative for 3.5 million square feet of space in the Westchester and Fairfield counties. Between 2005 and 2012, he was a managing director at Newmark Knight Frank. McCall received a bachelor of arts in political science and holds a real estate license in both New York and Connecticut.

Jacqueline Novotny joined the CBRE team in 2012 as an associate, becoming a vice president in just three years. She is in charge of leasing for more than 1 million square feet in Westchester County, working with landlords such as SL Green, Keystone Property Group, Alaska Permanent Fund Corp., GTJ Management, DSel Properties and Phoenix Capital Partners. She also served as an independent contractor at Sheldon Good & Co.
