CBRE Adds Tampa Retail VP

Ari Ravi has joined the firm from Marcus & Millichap. In his new role, he will focus on business development and execution of retail investment properties.

Following the addition of a Tampa senior vice president three weeks ago, CBRE has hired Ari Ravi as vice president of their Retail Investments office in Tampa. In this capacity, Ravi will work together with Senior Vice President Mark Shellabarger, focusing on business development and retail investment properties in the Tampa Bay and West Coast markets of Florida.

Ravi has more than 11 years of industry experience. Since 2008, he has overseen and completed real estate transactions worth more than $4 billion. He joins CBRE from Marcus & Millichap, where he was sales & regional manager for the Tampa-St. Petersburg area. Before Marcus & Millichap, Ravi was a senior associate with Prudential Commercial Real Estate Florida, the company where he began his commercial real estate career. His responsibilities included sales and leasing for office and retail buildings in the Tampa Bay Area. Ravi holds a Bachelor of Science degree in decision and information sciences from the University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business.
