CBRE Adds New SVP in Tampa

John Heald joined the firm from JLL, where he most recently served as managing director. In the new role, he will focus on leasing activities for office clients.

After recently adding a vice president in Cleveland, CBRE has hired John Heald as senior vice president of Advisory and Transactions Services in Tampa, Fla. In this capacity, Heald will focus on leasing activities for office tenants in the Tampa Bay and West Coast of Florida markets.

Heald joins CBRE from JLL, where he most recently served as managing director. During his 7-year tenure, he transacted leases of more than 3 million square feet for a total volume of more than $300 million. He has worked on behalf of his clients throughout North America and around the world. Prior to JLL, Heald was a sales representative with Boston Scientific, where he was part of the no. 1 sales team in the Neurostimulation Division.

Heald holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and management from the University of Florida. He is a former captain in the Marine Corps and a former chairman of the Veterans Employment Committee at the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce.
