All of Duke Realty’s five properties in Carol Stream Business Park in DuPage County, Ill. are now fully occupied.
GELS Logistics, a global e-commerce logistics company, recently signed a lease for 154,275 square feet of space in Duke’s Carol Stream III—a 304,624-square-foot bulk warehouse facility at 370 Kimberly Drive in the village of Carol Stream, Ill. Duke Realty operates five buildings totaling 1.4 million square feet at the site, and they are now all 100 percent occupied. Carol Stream Business Park is located 3.5 miles from I-355, just off Route 64 on North Avenue, about an hour away from the city of Chicago.
“Our Carol Stream properties continue to be attractive to warehouse and distribution companies because of their central location and ability to serve the greater Chicago area,” Ryan O’Leary, senior vice president of Duke Realty’s Chicago operations, said in a statement.
Jason West of Cushman & Wakefield represented GELS Logistics in the transaction, while Duke was represented by Brian Colson of NAI Hiffman and Susan Bergdoll of Duke Realty.
Duke Realty currently owns, manages or has under development roughly 12.5 million square feet of industrial and healthcare assets in the greater Chicago area.
