Cambria Hotel Coming to Iowa

The hotel, slated to debut in 2019, will be part of the 75-acre TBK Bank Sport Complex BettPlex and High Five family entertainment center.

Hotel newsAfter unveiling plans to develop a new Cambria Hotel in Bremerton, Wash., Choice Hotels International Inc. has signed an agreement with Frontier Hospitality Group to develop Iowa’s first Cambria hotel. Dubbed the Cambria Hotel Bettendorf, the property is slated to debut in 2019. 

Located at the intersection of Middle Road and Forest Grove Road in Bettendorf, the four-story, 108-key hotel will be part of the 75-acre TBK Bank Sport Complex BettPlex and High Five family entertainment center. Guests will have access to a fitness center, onsite dining and multi-functional meeting space. 

“Bettendorf is part of the Quad Cities, one of the largest metropolitan areas along the Mississippi River, and features a growing business community and vibrant culture,” said Mark Shalala, vice president, development, upscale brands at Choice Hotels, in a prepared statement. “As the Cambria brand continues to grow, we look forward to working with Frontier Hospitality Group to develop the first Cambria hotel in Iowa, and further Choice’s upscale offerings throughout the Midwest.”

The hotel will be located near the Quad City International Airport, Rhythm City Casino, Tax Salyer Center and Isle Casino, as well as major corporations including Rock Island Arsenal, HyVee, Oscar Mayer, Deere & Co. and Kraft Foods.
