Binswanger Arranges Sale of 158 KSF Industrial Property

Southern Energy Homes sold its single-story, five-building industrial site in Double Springs, Ala., to the town, which plans to use the property in assisting with industrial recruitment and job creation in the area.  

Senior Vice President David Barber of Binswanger’s Atlanta office, handled the transaction on behalf of the seller. 

Selling features 

Located at 455 Alabama Highway 33, the 158,000-square-foot asset sits on 19 acres. The site’s five buildings include features such as reinforced concrete floors, 21-foot clear ceiling heights, a wet sprinkler system, 15,800 square feet of air-conditioned office space, insulated pre-engineered metal construction, all utilities and metal-halide lighting. The property is within close proximity to US Highway 278. 

Alabama has been a transforming spot for industrial growth, with Honda Manufacturing of Alabama planning an $85 million multi-phase expansion of its $2.2 billion plant in Talladega County.
