Bellomy & Co. Brokers Dallas Storage Sale
The company has arranged the sale of a 541-unit self storage facility located along Frankford Road, the dominant retail corridor of Dallas.
Preferred Self Storage
MEMC II has sold Preferred Self Storage, a 57,825-net-rentable-square-foot facility in Dallas, Texas. Bellomy & Co. arranged the sale on behalf of the seller. The buyer was a private real estate fund advised by Crow Holdings Capital.
Located at 3737 Frankford Road, the facility is along the city’s retail corridor, just off the President George Bush Turnpike and Dallas North Tollway. Additionally, the storage asset is within 18 miles of downtown Dallas. The facility is also near to residential areas; there are approximately 38,100 completed units within a 3-mile radius, according to Yardi Matrix.
Constructed in 2017 and 2018, the five-building facility occupies 4.7 acres and comprises a total of 541 units. The buildings are gated and feature drive-up access, security camera and climate control. Services provided include on-site management and truck rental options, Yardi Matrix shows.
Bellomy & Co.’s brokerage team included Principals Bill Bellomy and Michael Johnson. In December, the company also brokered the sale of Move It Storage, a 72,063-net-rentable-square-foot facility in San Antonio, Texas.
