Two Caterpillar suppliers will lease about 300,000 square feet of space in Bandera Ventures’ planned warehouse building in Seguin, just east of San Antonio. The new tenants are Gray Interplant Systems and FCA Packaging, which have already signed on as tenants.

Gray Interplant Systems will provide logistical support services, while FCA will package and crate finished engines for Caterpillar, according to Area Development Online.

The San Antonio Business Journal reports that the two companies will hire a combined 65 employees to work in the warehouse, which will be located on a 26-acre tract west of an existing Caterpillar plant. And Area Development Online said the complex will create more than $12.5 million in new capital investment.

Seguin Gazette reported that Guadalupe County and the Seguin City Council have approved tax abatements for the Dallas-based developer, with Bandera Ventures receiving a partial property tax abatement over a five-year period.

Meanwhile, FelCor Lodging Trust Inc. sold the Holiday Inn San Antonio – Airport as part of a six-hotel portfolio sale to an undisclosed buyer, according to Citybizlist.com. The six hotels were purchased for $103 million. They include:
