Ross Carrier and Mark Montgomery, both senior vice presidents with Avison Young, will lead the leasing and marketing efforts for this new project that will be built in Nocatee, the nation’s third best-selling master-planned community, which spans 13,323 acres.

“Nocatee is the perfect location for Jacksonville’s next generation of Class A office space,” said John Carey, executive vice president for VanTrust in Florida, in prepared remarks. “Nocatee is an incredibly successful residential community with unmatched amenities. Its residents will provide a quality work force for both growing Northeast Florida companies and new companies locating in our region.”

Dubbed Nocatee Office Park, the 675,000-square-foot property is set for development on a 72-acre site that VanTrust Real Estate acquired for $4.5 million about a year ago.

The team led by Carrier and Montgomery will first oversee the development of the first building—a four-story, 120,000-square-foot structure that’s currently under design—while also scouting build-to-suit opportunities for the entire office development, which will encompass four to six buildings.
