Albuquerque Plans $20M Facelift for Convention Center
Albuquerque Mayor Richard Berry recently unveiled a $20 million plan to redesign the exterior of the Albuquerque Convention Center. Twenty-one years have passed since the Convention Center, built in 1972, received a fresh look, according to Cvent Blog. he redesign will focus on the center’s west end and will turn it into a space that represents Albuquerque and New Mexico, much like the Albuquerque International Sunport, reported New Mexico Business Weekly.

The Adolphus Hotel in Downtown Dallas could celebrate its 100th birthday with a new owner.
According to the Dallas Morning News, Ohio-based hotel RockBridge Capital is interested in buying the 20-story landmark. As the hotel was last renovated in 1980 for $45 million, the investor would need to make some improvements to the 440-room building. The hospitality property is currently owned by a Boston partnership that has controlled the property since early this year.
