Chilean Hospitality Chain Broke Ground on Atton Brickell Hotel
Atton Hotels started site work on its first US project, a 275-room, 12-story full-service hotel. Located at 1500 SW 1st Ave. in Downtown Miami, construction of the $65 million project is expected to create around 400 jobs until the completion scheduled to early 2016, and 130 permanent positions after delivery.

Crescent Gateway, Crescent Communities’ luxury apartment community is underway at the intersection of Maitland Boulevard and state Route 434. The company is building an 80-acre, mixed-use project and the residential component represents the first phase. Another 300,000 square feet of office and retail space, and potentially a hotel, are in the pipeline. A groundbreaking ceremony was held May 15.

The Ensign Group acquired the 230-bed skilled nursing facility located at the corner of Orange Grove and Corona roads, adjacent to Northwest Hospital Medical Plaza in Tucson.

Krystal Logistics Relocates, Staying Loyal to Flagler Station
Krystal Logistics has outgrown its current facility at 10301 NW 108th Avenue in Flagler Station and plans to move to a 78,000 square-foot distribution facility, up from 46,000 square feet, by the end of the year. The new lease is also part of Flagler Station, at Building 36, which has yet to be built.
County Approves 716-Acre Multifamily Development Near Corona de Tucson County
The Pima County Board of Supervisors approved a development agreement with Diamond Ventures, Inc, Arizona Daily Star reports. The company is the owner of Hook M Ranch which is situated on 716 acres of land near Corona de Tucson. The development includes 1, 376 houses and 400 apartments, open space, small commercial spaces and a K-8 school for the Vail School District.
Cortland Partners Enters Orlando Market, Hires Local Expert
Cortland Partners recently acquired its first asset in the metro Orlando market. The firm purchased Harbor at Lake Howell, a 408-unit, garden-style community in Casselberry for $40 million. Aside from the acquisition, the company also announced that it has added John Builder to its team of experts.
