Arc Capital Partners Acquires The Establishment Apartment Community in Austin
On November 22, 2013, the Los Angeles-based boutique commercial real estate platform Arc Capital Partners, formed by industry veterans Quincy Allen and Neville Rhone, entered into a joint venture with Cardinal Group Investments (CGI) to acquire an apartment community located in the South Congress submarket of Austin.

MVP Wraps $55M Office Acquisition as Market Shows Signs of Reversing Decline
A few weeks ago it was revealed that an office deal is going on where MVP Real Estate Investment Trust Inc kept closing deals for buildings part of a local office park. Now the company has completed yet another deal, this time for the final asset in the campus at 8945 W. Post Road. MVP acquired the property for a fee of $6.1 million, a press statement issued by the company indicates.
Sandia Resort & Casino Announces Contractors for Expansion Project
The Sandia Casino dates back to 2001, the seven-story hotel with the relaxing spa and 18-hole golf course were added in 2005. Located 10 miles north of Albuquerque, the Pueblo of Sandia recently announced the two contractors for the expansion of Sandia Resort & Casino that’s scheduled to begin by next year.
Investcorp Acquires University Village & University Estates in Austin
Investcorp, one of the prominent providers and managers of alternative investment products headquartered in New York, announced the acquisition of several residential properties in separate transactions, in Austin, Chicago and Las Vegas. The amount paid for all transactions was approximately $270 million.
PHH Ventures Partners Lease Aztec Theater, with Plans to Redevelop It
After the successful collaboration at transforming Sam’s Burger Joint into a live music venue, Sam Panchevre and Keith Howerton, partners at PHH Ventures Entertainment LLC, have signed a multi-year lease with Baron Theodore Bracht for the 87-year old historic Aztec Theater. The property, located at 201 E. Commerce Street, will undergo renovations that will transform the theater into a concert venue capable of accommodating mid-sized touring acts.
