Atlanta Office Tower Welcomes First Tenant

Riverwood 200 at 3300 Riverwood Parkway

Highwoods Properties arranged a 64,300-square-foot lease at Riverwood 200, a newly developed Class A office tower in Atlanta’s Northwest/Cumberland submarket. Bennett Thrasher is the first tenant to move into the 299,000-square-foot property. The public accounting and consulting firm is relocating from One Overton Park at 3625 Cumberland Blvd.

Located at 3300 Riverwood Parkway SE, Riverwood 200 is part of Highwoods Properties’ Riverwood office park. The 12-story office building is LEED-proposed and scheduled for delivery in mid-2017. Bennett Thrasher will occupy three floors at the property, a 40 percent increase from its former location.

The new office space encompasses the tenant’s culture and values, by promoting collaboration with 38 conference and socialization spaces of different sizes and configurations. Other amenities include standing or treadmill desks available to all employees, a Zen room and modern technology features. Additionally, Bennett Thrasher refreshed its brand by updating the company logo.

“We are excited that our new office space and refreshed brand reflect the core values that we built this firm on,” said Jeffrey Eischeid, managing partner at Bennett Thrasher, in prepared remarks. “With this expansion comes the opportunity for us to continue our commitment to exceptional client service, broaden our service offerings and add to our team of outstanding professionals,” he added.

Landlord and developer Highwoods Properties facilitated the tenant’s relocation with the help of several companies including architect and interior designer HGL Studio and project manager Cushman & Wakefield. Additionally, BT Wealth Management, an independent financial advisory firm affiliated with Bennett Thrasher, will move into a separate office space at Riverwood 200 in the upcoming months.
