Page, a global architecture and engineering company, has signed a 34,000-square-foot, seven-year lease extension at the Mercantile National Bank Building in downtown Dallas. The tenant has occupied the space since 2011. The owner of the property is Brookfield Asset Management.

Cushman & Wakefield Executive Managing Director Matt Heidelbaugh and Director Billy Gannon worked on behalf of the tenant.

Located at 1800 Main St., the asset is within walking distance to retail, dining and other amenities, as well as public transit. When originally leasing the space, the tenant transformed the former lobby of the 1940-built property into a three-story open-space office, according to Page Senior Principal Mattia Flabiano. Additionally, street level escalators were removed and replaced with one open staircase. At the time, the project was the largest adaptive reuse undertaking in downtown Dallas in more than a decade.
