Atlanta—EDENS, a private operator and developer of retail real estate has announced that Henri’s Bakery & Cafe is relocating to Andrews Square. The bakery will be located on Cains Hill Place, on the east side of Andrews Square. Henri’s will continue operations at its current location at 61 Irby Avenue and will transition into the new location in the spring.
Located in Buckhead’s West Village, Andrews Square is one of Atlanta’s top local and national shopping centers, having state-of-the-art design features and diverse merchandising mix, such as Lucy’s Market, Boxwoods Garden & Gifts, and Poppy’s Boutique. Andrews Square recently underwent a series of renovations, such as the addition of new tenants like SAMA Food For Balance, also scheduled to open this year.
“It’s important that Henri’s is part of the Buckhead Village. We love this community and the special place Henri’s has in it. We’re excited to relocate to a location that will allow us to continue serving our neighborhood that has so wonderfully embraced us,” Henri’s owner Madeline Leonard, said in prepared remarks.
“At EDENS, everything we do underlines our central purpose to enrich communities. Bringing Henri’s to Andrews Square and helping preserve its legacy and its role as an anchor of the West Village, is a natural fit for our mission. We’re thrilled at the opportunity to work with such an Atlanta institution. Henri’s is a perfect addition to the exciting evolution of our center and the West Village,” Herbert Ames, EDENS vice president, said in a prepared statement.
