AccorHotels will integrate 15 properties located in premium resort markets like Turkey, UAE, Egypt, Russia and Europe into its network, while Rixos plans to reflag five city-centre hotels to AccorHotels brands. The company will also add a second hotel in Dubai and two other properties by the end of 2018, in Abu Dhabi and the Maldives.

The Rixos collection includes landmark properties such as Roxos Premium Belek in Turkey and Rixos The Palm in Dubai. The company has also invested in The Land of Legends Theme Park, Turkey’s largest entertainment center, which opened in July 2016. The joint venture will be managing the hotel within the park.

“Our collaboration is part of Rixos’ objective for further expansion and growth globally with a strong partner in the hospitality industry,” said Fettah Tamince, founder & chairman of Rixos, in prepared remarks. “Combined with our partner’s strong brand portfolio, reservation and sales network supported by a wide range of digital marketing activities, Rixos will expand its current geographic footprint and customer base.”
