Boise, Idaho—A10 Capital announced that Tom MacManus has joined the firm in the newly created role of president, strategic accounts.

“Tom brings executive leadership and over 35 years of commercial real estate finance experience,” said Jerry Dunn, A10 Capital co-founder & CEO, in prepared remarks. “He will deepen our relationships with key commercial real estate firms, an initiative that will further strengthen A10’s momentum.”

Previously, MacManus served as president & COO of ARA Finance, where he developed the firm’s national multifamily lending platform. Prior to this, he was chairman & CEO of Cushman & Wakefield Sonnenblick Goldman. His track record also includes various senior leadership roles during a nine-year career with GMAC Commercial Mortgage Corp., as well as a senior vice president position at Midlantic Bank (now PNC).

From 2003 to 2006, while serving as president & CEO of GMAC’s North American operations, MacManus managed mortgage banking and seven other lending platforms comprising a $10 billion balance sheet and $22 billion in annual originations.
