The firm added more than 1 million square feet to its local holdings.

INDUS Realty Trust has expanded its presence in metro Atlanta with the purchase of Westridge Distribution Center, a fully leased 833,000-square-foot asset in McDonough, Ga. Link Logistics previously owned the property, according to Yardi Matrix information.

The warehouse is at 180 Westridge Parkway, between Atlanta and the Port of Savannah, having access to Interstate 75. The building is occupied by two tenants and features 182 dock-high doors, 189 trailer stalls and a two-story office component.

INDUS’ other holdings in the metro Atlanta area include a two-building, 440,000-square-foot campus in Kennesaw, along the I-75 north corridor, and a 356,000-square-foot building in the Suwanee submarket adjacent to Interstate 85.

The firm has also broken ground recently on a two-building, 267,000-square-foot warehouse/distribution development in the 400 North submarket of Atlanta. The infill property, catering to last-mile logistics, will be completed in the fourth quarter of 2026.

INDUS currently owns 15.5 million square feet of industrial space across the U.S., in various stages of development. Since the beginning of 2025, the firm has added a total of 6.8 million square feet to its holdings.

Atlanta industrial market still strong

Industrial projects under construction in metro Atlanta totaled more than 10.6 million square feet in December, according to a recent Yardi Matrix report. That amount was ahead of the likes of The Inland Empire and Denver, but behind Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston and Phoenix. As a percentage of existing stock, Atlanta was ninth in the nation at 1.8 percent, reflecting broader industrial real estate trends.

Investors were also keen on doing deals in Greater Atlanta, prices averaging $132 per square foot in December, the report shows. Earlier in January, Blackstone’s Link Logistics paid $53.9 million for a three-building industrial portfolio totaling 302,120 square feet.
