Agile Cold Storage JV Opens New Facility
This is the partnership’s second project of its kind, with a third one underway.
Agile Cold Storage and Ti Cold have opened their second cold storage facility in Pearl River, La. Previously, the companies delivered a similar project in Macon, Ga., and are currently working on a third facility in West Seneca, N.Y.
Located at 39200 Pearl Parkway, the newly completed Agile Cold Storage facility was built and designed by Ti Cold. The building features 121,000 square feet and has the capacity to store up to 19,500 pallets. Ti Cold included in the design a refrigeration system that reduces electricity consumption and maintains a temperature range between 40 degrees Fahrenheit and negative 10 degrees Fahrenheit.
Construction on the $45.9 million project began in the summer of 2024. The facility is expected to generate 200 jobs for the region. According to CommercialEdge data, the property sits on 10.6 acres. The site is approximately 38 miles outside of New Orleans, off Interstate 59.

Construction on the partnership’s third cold storage project in West Seneca began in November 2024. The 132,856-square-foot facility is scheduled to come online later this year.
Cold storage deliveries across the nation
Most recently, Ti Cold Storage was the general contractor and designer on another project in Commerce, Ga. Banks Cold Storage called upon the company for its latest 210,000-square-foot facility. The property broke ground in November 2023 and came online in April.
At the beginning of the year, Vertical Cold Storage brought its 311,000-square-foot multi-modal facility online in Kansas City, Mo. The property supports 47,000 pallet positions and broke ground in November 2023. The site sits adjacent to the CPKC intermodal terminal and was the firm’s eighth property of its kind.
A joint venture between Sansone Group and Clous Road partners acquired an 18.6-acre site in Columbus, Ohio in March. The partnership plans to develop a new 212,000-square-foot cold storage facility on the property. Kadean Construction serves as general contractor on the project, along with Hercules Construction Management.
