CBRE Expands Asia Pacific, EMEA Teams

The company has made three senior appointments across its global Capital Markets business.

CBRE has hired Greg Hyland as managing director Capital Markets Asia Pacific, and has made two promotions: Chris Brett to managing director Capital Markets Europe Middle East & Africa (EMEA) and Kevin Aussef to global COO Capital Markets.

Bringing more than 18 years of transactional experience in office, retail, industrial and residential sectors, Hyland will be based in Singapore and will be responsible for the company Capital Markets across Asia Pacific. Prior to joining CBRE, Hyland served as head of Capital Markets at JLL for more than 13 years. He has advised on more than $10 billion real estate transactions. Hyland has a bachelor’s degree in applied science from the Queensland University of Technology.

In his new role, Brett will be responsible for the company’s capital markets across EMEA. Previously, he served as head of strategic partnerships Europe at LaSalle Investment Management and prior to that, he worked for more than 13 years at JLL as European director. Aussef’s responsibilities include investment sales, debt structured finance and capital advisors. In his role, he supports senior leaders in their respective responsibilities and implementation of capital markets priorities. He also oversees the functional leaders responsible for all day-to-day operations to support the business. He has a master’s degree in business administration from Claremont Graduate University.
