Peloton Warehouses With CenterPoint in Chicago
The company will join Xpress Global Systems at the owner’s speculative building in Franklin Park, bringing the facility to 50 percent occupancy.
CenterPoint Properties has leased 51,000 square feet to technology company Peloton Interactive Inc. at one of its speculative buildings in Chicago’s Franklin Park. The facility, which spans 225,891 square feet, was built from the ground up in 2018 and has Xpress Global Systems as its tenant. Peloton’s 64-month lease will bring the building to more than 50 percent occupancy.
The asset is located at 10601 Seymour Ave. and provides direct access to rail, Interstate 294 and O’Hare International Airport. According to Yardi Matrix data, it provides a total of 242 parking spaces and 50 exterior dock doors, among other features. The space leased to Peloton includes a 2,800-square-foot office component, nine exterior docks, 15 trailer stalls, 60 auto stalls, 32-foot clear height and LED lighting.
Podolsky Circle’s Principals Adam Tarantur and Steven Tick represented the tenant in the transaction. Tom Rodeno and Jim Estus, principals with Colliers International, worked on behalf of CenterPoint.
Earlier this month, CenterPoint broke ground on a two-building industrial and distribution facility in Hollywood, Fla., with International Warehouse Services as one of the tenants.
