Petrus Partners Sells NC Office Park

CBRE provided assistance in the $23.2 million disposition of the four-building CentrePort Office Park in Greensboro. The asset previously traded in 2006.

CentrePort Office Park

Petrus Partners has completed the sale of CentrePort Office Park, a four-building campus totaling nearly 265,000 square feet in Greensboro, N.C. Deep River Partners acquired the Class A portfolio for $23.2 million, according to Guilford County records. A team of CBRE|Raleigh and CBRE|Triad represented the seller.

Located at 101, 200 and 202 CentrePort Drive and 7736 McCloud Road in the Piedmont Triad Airport submarket, the buildings were completed in phases. CentrePort Office Park features conference and training rooms, an on-site fitness center and rotating food trucks. Tenants at the campus include CBRE|Triad, Analog Devices, Newport Group, Hirschfeld and Swift Air.

Coveted Triad location

CBRE Executive Vice Presidents Ben Kilgore and Greg Wilson, alongside Managing Director Dodson Schenck and Vice President Matt King, worked on behalf of Petrus Partners. CBRE|Triad will continue to provide leasing services for the office park.

“… we were the listing agent for Liberty Property Trust when the property was sold to Petrus in 2006. The work that Petrus has done to the CentrePort assets in the last few years will serve the property well, as its strategic location at Highway 68 and Interstate 40 will be a draw for future tenants looking to do business in and around the Triad region,” Kilgore said in prepared remarks.

The property also provides access to Interstate 73, U.S. Route 421 and Wendover Avenue. CentrePort is close to several banks, retail and shopping centers, Homewood Suites, Embassy Suites and LaQuinta Inn & Suites. Additionally, the property is 2 miles from Piedmont Triad International Airport.

Last month, a joint venture between Blue Vista Capital Management and Dominion Realty Partners purchased Mendenhall Business Park, a six-building property situated 10 minutes from Greensboro. HFF represented the seller in the transaction.
