Toronto-Based League Inc. Expands Chicago Office
CBRE represented the company in moving its current coworking space to Beacon Capital’s property on State Street, which will function as the firm’s U.S. headquarters.

Almost two years after opening its first location in Chicago, League Inc., a healthtech company based in Toronto is expanding its office. The company will be moving from its current coworking space into a 12,100-square-foot office at Beacon Capital’s 515 N. State St. property.
Executive Vice President Brad Serot and Associate Tony Coglianese of CBRE represented the tenant in the transaction, the same team having also arranged the firm’s first lease. Vice President Jamey Dix of The Telos Group worked on behalf of the landlord.
The property is LEED certified to the Gold level, just like Beacon’s most recent $845 million acquisition in the Boston market. It provides 664,158 square feet of office space, a quarter of which was vacant as of January, according to Yardi Matrix. Designed by the Pritzker Prize-winning architect Kenzo Tange, the 29-story aluminum and glass tower offers high-end amenities which include a fitness center, tenant lounge, conference center, two-story lobby and urban outdoor plaza.
“It’s no secret that Chicago has access to some of the best talent in the country, given the proximity to top universities. We are thrilled to begin the next phase of our growth in the U.S. from our new state-of-the-art headquarters,” said Ana Perez, general manager of League’s Chicago office, in a prepared statement.
