SJP Properties Adds New SVP
Zachary Freeman has more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience and previously worked at Equity Office/The Blackstone Group and CBRE.
SJP Properties has selected Zachary Freeman as its newest senior vice president. In his new role, Freeman will focus on the leasing and marketing activities for the company’s New York City commercial portfolio. Additionally, he will work closely with the executive team to identify prospective investment, acquisition, development and joint venture partnership opportunities in New York City.
Freeman has more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience. Prior to joining the company, he served as vice president at Equity Office. There, his responsibilities included the leasing and marketing of a Blackstone Group majority-owned office portfolio in New York City and Greenwich, Conn., as well as overseeing the lease-up and acquisition of the company’s Tri-State portfolio and capital renovations at Park Avenue Tower and 114 W. 41st St. Between 2000 and 2014, he worked as senior vice president at CBRE, where he was responsible for leasing, marketing and asset management of a 9.5 million-square-foot commercial portfolio. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan.
“Zach’s knowledge of the local market, as well as the deep relationships he has forged throughout the brokerage and investment communities, will serve us well as we strategically expand our New York City footprint,” SJP Properties CEO Steven Pozycki said in a prepared statement.
