A + Self Storage

Go Store It has purchased A+ Self Storage, a 90,000-square-foot facility in Mt. Juliet, a suburb of Nashville. This marks the company’s third acquisition in the area. Go Store It is focusing on expanding its portfolio with value-add opportunities. Another recent purchase of the firm includes a 42,000-square-foot facility in Moseley, Va.

Go Store It’s newly purchased property is located at 166 Belinda Parkway alongside Interstate 40, 19 miles from downtown Nashville. Additionally, A+ Self Storage is situated roughly 12 miles from Nashville International Airport. The facility is also close to many residential properties, including Deerfield at Providence, a 456-unit community and Glass Creek, which comprises 360 units.

The five-building facility was constructed in three phases in 2009, 2012 and 2016, occupies 8 acres and offers 685 storage units, ranging from 25 to 400 square feet, according to Yardi Matrix data. Features of the storage property include climate control, gate, drive-up access, security cameras and RV parking spaces. Other services offered are on-site management, truck rental opportunities and 24-hour access.

“This acquisition presents a unique opportunity for Go Store It and allows us to expand our presence in the Nashville market. There is a big demand for quality storage and the Mt. Juliet market has high barriers to entry. We are looking to acquire and develop additional assets in the Nashville area,” said Neil Dyer, director of acquisitions at Go Store It, in prepared remarks.
