CBRE Tapped to Handle Leasing of SC Industrial Development

Located within the Foreign Trade Zone industrial park in Summerville, the property will comprise 562,000 square feet and is scheduled for completion by the fourth quarter of 2018.

The Silverman Group has tapped CBRE to handle leasing of its new spec industrial development at the Foreign Trade Zone industrial park in Summerville, S.C. 

Located at 1334 Drop Off Drive, the property will comprises 562,000 square feet. The cross-dock building will include 36-foot clear heights, an ESFR sprinkler system, parking for 307 cars and 264 trailers, and 117 dock doors. Interstate 26 and the new exit 197 and 194 interchange are both located nearby. Construction of the asset has begun and is scheduled for completion by the fourth quarter of 2018. 

CBRE’s Senior Vice President Bob Barrineau and Vice President Brendan Redeyoff are leading the leasing effort for the building. 

“We are excited to be building this modern, state-of-the-art facility in one of South Carolina’s leading submarkets for industrial space. We believe this building will generate a strong amount of interest in the growing industrial market of Charleston,” said Blake Silverman, president at The Silverman Group, in a prepared statement.

Last month, The Silverman Group acquired the $6.9 million Flamingo Commerce Center, an industrial asset in Riviera Beach, Fla. The firm purchased the two-building flex property, located in Sandlake Industrial Park, from Denholtz Associates.
