Cushman & Wakefield Appoints New Executive in Manhattan
Barry Finkelman, who brings nearly 15 years of commercial real estate experience to the team, previously served as senior vice president at CBRE.
Cushman & Wakefield has selected Barry Finkelman as its newest executive director, responsible for the Manhattan region. He will report to Managing Principal Joseph Caridi, who oversees the Downtown Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and Long Island areas.
“We are committed to growing our team in the Downtown market with the best talent and I look forward to working with Barry as his wealth of experience and expertise will be a great asset to the firm,” Caridi said in a prepared statement.
A 15-year veteran of commercial real estate, Finkelman most recently served as senior vice president of CBRE’s Midtown Manhattan office. He was also an associate at Hunter Realty from 2005 to 2007. He is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York and holds a B.A. in psychology from University of Maryland College Park.
Cushman also recently appointed Melanie Kirkwood Ruiz as its CIO, responsible for the Americas.
