Meritex plans to construct Highcrest II & III, two 144,000-square-foot distribution buildings in Roseville, Minn., by demolishing the former Minnesota Technology Exchange building, a 360,000-square-foot industrial property. The project is slated for completion in fall 2018.
David Stokes, Todd Hanson, Jason Sell, Chris Weirens and Ian Thompson of Cushman & Wakefield will be handling leasing services.
Located at 2470 Highcrest Road, Highcrest II & III will be located across the street from Meritex’s Highcrest Distribution Center, a fully-leased 130,000-square-foot property. The development offers quick access to Interstate 35W, highways 36 and 280, downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul. Additionally, the properties will be in close proximity to a multitude of retail, restaurant and hotel locations in the Roseville area.
“The Northeast metro submarket has seen a tremendous amount of activity throughout the last several years as growing companies look to expand and others look to consolidate operations in newer, better spaces,” said Stokes, Cushman & Wakefield senior director, in prepared remarks. “The market has only just become aware that this opportunity is available, and there’s already healthy interest in the new Highcrest II & III.”
