Lee & Associates marks another office transaction in Arizona, where it represented electrical contracting firm DP Electric in its new headquarters acquisition. The property, formerly owned by Robert Coleman Trust, changed hands for $3.4 million. The company will streamline all its operations at 2210 S. Roosevelt St. in Tempe, Ariz., by the summer of 2018.
“Finding a property that offers a fenced yard and efficient parking is a challenge in the Tempe market, but this building allowed for both and was the ideal size for DP Electric’s growth plans,” said Lee & Associates Principal Kurt Saulnier in prepared remarks. “The centrally located building offers quick access to Valley freeways with numerous retail amenities close by, making it an ideal choice for the company.”
Upcoming renovations
The new office will be only four miles away from the company’s current business location at 6002 S. Ash Ave. Dan Puente, the president of DP Electric, announced that the property will go through a complete renovation, so that employees can enjoy an open floorplan with offices on both sides of the workstations, as well as several areas for meetings and collaboration.
Planned amenities include:
- an employee gym
- locker rooms
- a café
- an event space that opens to the outdoors
- a patio
Saulnier represented DP Electric, while Vice President Eric Jones from Commercial Properties closed the transaction on behalf of Robert Coleman Trust.
